Did you know that the Summer Olympics are being held in Paris for the third time this year?

After 1900 and 1924, around 10,500 athletes from 207 nations are coming together in Paris this year to celebrate the world’s biggest sports festival.   

But competitions will also be held in other places in France: for example, sailing will take place in Marseille, soccer will be played in Nice or Lyon, and the Olympic surfing champions will be crowned on the island of Tahiti.    

 As one of the most famous cities in Europe, Paris is particularly suitable for all kinds of events.
