Everybody around the world know the Oktoberfest in Munch, but did you know that Munich’s English Garden, at 375 hectares, is larger than both Central Park in New York (341 ha) and Hyde Park in London (142 ha)?
Munich’s green heart offers countless leisure activities, and its Eisbach wave is likely the only surf spot right in the middle of a major city. Events like the Munich Marathon, the Japan Festival, or the Christmas Market, along with its diverse gastronomy, make it a magnet for visitors.
